CFR shipment from UK to Boston Port
reddit:r/shipping · 2026-02-20 20:06:52
Hi - I have two options for a less-than-container-load shipment from the UK to Boston (1) CFR to Boston Port for ~$400 or (2) DAP to my address, which is about an hour away for ~$1,600. The shipment can fit into my truck...is there any reason I can't or should not just go to the port in my truck and pick up the goods myself? I am a rookie when it comes to getting large international shipments so thank you in advance
