Looking for some advice. I’m shipping a gift I bought in nyc for my friend in Vienna (silk blouse worth $148) and I’m curious what the best way to ship it to her is. I am aware that VAT will need to be paid but since it’s a gift I would strongly prefer to pay it as opposed to making her do so. I looked at pirateship but it seems like they require the receiver to pay the VAT. Is there anyway around this? Thanks!
