Terms of Service

ShipInfo Terms of Service

These terms are a simple public v1 for B2B evaluation and website use. Formal commercial terms may be agreed separately in writing.

1. Service scope

ShipInfo provides maritime information pages, vessel and fleet search, maps, analytics, event views and related data interfaces. The service is provided for business analysis, research and situational awareness.

2. Informational use only

ShipInfo data and analytics are not navigation instructions, safety-critical systems, legal advice, sanctions advice, financial advice, insurance advice or guaranteed real-time operational data.

3. Data accuracy

Maritime datasets can contain gaps, delays, errors, stale records and third-party inconsistencies. ShipInfo may correct, remove, reprocess or reclassify data at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Users must not misuse the site, overload infrastructure, bypass access controls, scrape at abusive rates, resell restricted data without permission, or use the service for unlawful activity.

5. B2B agreements

Paid B2B access, custom datasets, API access, uptime commitments, support terms, data delivery obligations and refunds should be governed by a written agreement or invoice terms. Those agreed terms override this public page where they conflict.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ShipInfo is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. The operator is not liable for business decisions made solely from unverified ShipInfo outputs.

7. Refunds and support

Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case. Support is provided on a best-effort basis unless a written B2B agreement states otherwise.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated as the service, legal entity information and commercial model are clarified.
