Im sure this is a stupid idea, but could the United States reactivate the Iowa class battle ships and send them to patrol the Strait of Hormuz? I can't imagine a drone boat or a shaheed drone doing much damage to a battleship, and an Iowa could be loaded up with antiaircraft guns. I picture drones bouncing off battleship grad armour. Those 16" guns would do a number on anything in range for a pretty economical price.
