I’ve had this ship‘s wheel for about 30 years purchased from an antique shop. I was told it was authentic, but never really knew whether to trust that or not. It looks very worn and has a keyhole in the central hub. The hub and plate are magnetic but I’m not sure if that rules out authenticity. I don’t see any makers marks. The only markings are “48” on the hub bolts. The spokes are through-bolted, but th
